Digital Cameras are Wonderful!
Oh the world of digital cameras :) In the classroom there are many ways we can use all things digital, especially pictures in the digital form, to enhance the learning experience of the students. Here are just a few cool ways to use cameras in the classroom:
~Take pictures of objects to make a rhyming book
~Use photos to create a (modest) body part book for educating about the body
~create a digital yearbook (or design one)
~Create a lively vocab chart with words that come to life
~Show "lapsed time" evolution (plants, clouds, day/night, etc)
What cool ways to use technology to make learning easier and more understandable!

Google Tools are super cool!
The Google Tools I thought were super interesting were, google maps, the calendar and the document section. I think it will fun creating documents for the students to complete. Also, i will be able to be organized and put all the events and assignments due on a calendar for students and their parents to see and refer to. I plan on using the google maps to show my students actual places and give them a visual picture about things we talk about in class. Yay for Google!
